I had a terrible experience renting a property from Elevations.

Every time we rang up about a problem with the house we were completely ignored - even when there was a leak in the roof, nothing was done about it at all.

Once we gave notice of leaving the property, they came in using their key in the day to hold viewings, without letting us know. I only found this out when I worked from home one day and an agent let himself in with a viewer.

On a rare occasion when we knew a viewer was coming to view, I tidied the house in the morning before work and came home to crumbs and crisps on the sofa. Obviously the agent had decided to have lunch in our house that day.

When it came to arranging the deposit refund, they added charges for whatever the landlord asked for, despite finding no problems in their check out inspection. They even had the audacity to charge us for white goods maintenance which should be down to the landlord. I felt like we had no options, with no negotiating power. They just did whatever the landlord wanted without any proof. And they carried this out for weeks, withholding our money until we caved in.

This is an agency that are biased towards the landlord with no respect or customer service skills at all when it comes to tenants. DO NOT USE THEM. You'll regret it.
What agent could do to change your mind?
What could they have done better?! They could have provided some customer service, actually returned our calls, given us back our money, listened to us at all, followed legislation?!

The only reason why this fee would be charged to you is if you are wishing to break a legal contract between you and the Landlord.
