- Avoid at all costs -
I was interested in a property in Cambridge offered by Tucker-Gardner, and called just one hour after it was put online on rightmove on a Friday. I requested a viewing at their earliest convenience, which was the Monday following the Friday I called, and confirmed a viewing appointment. Coming from London, I took a day off work, and booked my train tickets. 10 minutes before leaving to Cambridge on Monday, they called me to say the property was let that very Friday. I did not receive any calls or emails on the Friday I called, or the Saturday or Sunday of that weekend letting me know that the property was let (they are open on Saturday according to their website). I had been very clear that I would be coming from further away (London). So, I wasted train tickets, and a day off-work. No apology, and no timely cancelling. This is a very inappropriate way of doing business. This is the very first time I've dealt with such an apparent unscrupulous agency, and reading the reviews of tenants above, I am glad afterwards I could not make use of their services. I suggest to avoid this agency at all costs, which is what I will be doing.

I can confirm this comment. The ‘professional’ was surprised that we were waiting at the property to accompany him. He had already just not turned up the first day he was due. He told us he likes to turn up unannounced. We soon discovered why. The check out service was shockingly bad. A few photos were clicked off. Damage was missed which we had to point out to him.
