I have both bought and sold properties through Winkworth in East Dulwich in the last couple of years and I cannot fault the service I received on each occasion. In valuing the one property I sold I feel The property was valued fairly (unlike some other well known estate agents who have gave me unrealistic valuations to try and gain my custom), talked me through a clear marketing strategy tailored to the property and kept in constant contact during the selling process to give me updates and, what has now proven to be, extremely sound advice in the context of what was going on in the property market at that time. I achieved very good prices and felt completely satisfied I had been given the best advice possible.
With regard to buying properties, I have bought two through Winkworth and was treated with the same professionalism. Knowing that it is ultimately the seller who is the client in the estate agency business I feel that as a buyer it can sometimes feel that your best interests are not at the forefront of an estate agents thoughts and considerations however my experiences with various members of staff including Oliver, Toby, Ayesha, Will and Dom prove contrary to this misconception. The staff quickly got to the bottom of exactly what my wife and I were searching for, our current position and financial situation to produce a short list of properties that would meet our needs without showing us properties that would have ultimately wasted all our time. After viewings and further sound advice we managed to secure a family home that we love and again feel that they could not have helped us more through being honest and straight talking which I feel is an essential part of the process. I felt a process often full of smoke screens and bluffs was made more manageable and ultimately more enjoyable due to the staff at Winkworth. I would definitely recommend them to others and have done lots recently to friends looking to buy in the area.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Would have to respect and protect both tenants and landlords interests. Have to learn a strategy to be fair and reasonable when dealing with public.
