As part of the settlement of my late Mother's estate I had to sell her house in Plymouth, in which my brother still lived. I myself live over 250 miles away. I contacted Fulfords by email and phone and they dealt with the whole sale really effectively, handling my brother, who was being difficult, very tactfully and sensitively - many thanks to Steve Manley. The sale actually took place while I was on holiday - thanks Nathan! Sale was negotiated and agreed by text message - a first for me. Fulfords also recommended a conveyancing solicitor, Countrywide, who I used and was also pleased with - so thanks for that also. Fulfords were excellent, not pressuring me, and supporting me through the long process of probate. If I had another house to sell I would not hesitate to use them and can thoroughly recommend the team at the Mutley Plain, Plymouth office.
Comment on agent fees
Fulfords fees were entirely reasonable, and they had to work pretty hard for them in my case - but nothing seemed too much trouble for them.

What agent could do to change your mind?
All the agent needed to have done in this case is admit the errors at an early stage enabling things to be put right without delay,be truthful and commmunitive and be available and contactable by returning calls etc. These factors should be the base of any professional business which is sadly lacking here and the branch obviously needs taking over by someone with basic decency ,drive and focus on customer care and provide value for the thousands of pounds that a sale provides.
