Having completed my house sale through Emoov I wanted to write some feedback on my experiences.

Based on the best quote from local agents (1.25%), Emoov has saved me around £9K. I think I have spoken to nearly everyone in the Emoov office over the last few months , and at every stage I have been dealt with promptly and politely. I haven't had to wait more than a few seconds for the phone to be picked up, and everyone is able to quickly appraise the stage my negotiations are at and to take the appropriate action, or give me advice. All of the communications have been fast and efficient.

My house went live on a Friday morning in May, and after 12 viewings and 4 offers, we have accepted by Tuesday afternoon £30K over asking price. Most of the organisation happened on Saturday and Sunday - not something my local agent would do, but Emoov do!

Unfortunately, the sale fell through in July. Emoov staff got my house back up for sale and it sold again within 4 day, this time through to successful completion.

I cannot praise Emoov and their business model enough. I actually don't understand how they do it for the price. They deserve every success.

I do want to emphasize the team approach at Emoov and the information system they use that means that all members of staff know exactly the position my sale was at.
Comment on agent fees
I paid ‚£395 + vat flat fee. I must have had dozens of communications with the agent, plus some excellent photos, floorplan and a small extra fee for the EPC. My local agent wanted around ‚£9K. Provided you are prepared to show prospective purchasers around your property, I cannot see how a local agent would better this deal. Even the supposed 'local knowledge' really doesn't amount to much now we have the internet. The final decision to use Emoov was that even if they didn't help me, I would be only ‚£400 out of pocket. The fact they were so brilliant was a great relief, and financial bonus.
