I am an experienced tenant so was fairly stunned by the rudeness of Debbie Ellis on most interactions. She carries out her mid term inspections as if they are end of tenancy inspections which is contrary to ARLAs Code of Conduct, indeed I do believe there is another member of staff who is similar in this respect. She is hostile and argumentative towards tenants at every opportunity. I have had a number of issues with the property which the agency tend to be slack in arranging repairs/maintenance and yet express no apology when I have had to persist with reminders. I have had issues of mis-communications when dealing with appointed tradesmen and some have produced fairly substandard work - something for potential landlords to consider. I am well aware that my landlord has concerns over their efficiency too, although they are politer to him. It would be possible to change agencies - ha! but better the devil you know. That said there are staff within the office and management who are friendly, professional and pleasant to deal with, and are everything a letting agency should be, they are sadly let down by the others.
