I initially contacted 4 local estates agents about selling my property. After much deliberation I selected Lawler & Co. What I liked about them was that they were not overtly salesy. Whilst I know Estate Agencies need to have sales skills and without them wouldn't be able to do their job properly, I felt that a couple of the other agents used the hard sell which annoys me. They also offered very competitive rates (one other agent valued my property £20k less and wanted a fixed fee that worked out at about 3%!). I initially thought that the valuation of my house was probably a bit too high but it turns out that Leigh was pretty accurate with his estimate, as I had an offer within the range. Their communication was excellent, not too in your face, but still supportive and I also felt that they respected the buyers as well as the seller. Unfortunately,I had a personal issue which meant that I had to withdraw my house from the market after acceptance and Adele was extremely supportive. When I am ready to put my house on the market again I will definitely be using their services.
