Andrew Cowan agents do not allow you to make one of their properties your 'home'...
It will always be a house you rent. You are not allowed to relax, I am actually getting to the point of panic everytime the buzzer rings or if I receive a letter from them. It's never ending harassment on the corridor by their rude and abusive staff member or by the office telling us we have to have time off work while they inspect the property. you are constantly reminded by notes constantly pushed under your door by a member of their staff who happens to live in the same building ( accusing you of making noise, even smoking in the house, which we never do) my husband and I smoke but only outside and the staff member has seen us outside smoking.
She has even passed me in the corridor after I have been outside for a cigarette and sniffed my jacket as I've passed and then made a disgusted face at me. I am being made to feel uncomfortable and victimised by this person. I can only assume that she has the permission of Andrew Cowan to behave like this as each and everytime she accuses us of breaking the rules, it is followed by an official letter from the Andrew Cowan office through the post. I have reported several problems with the apartment and am promised maintenance yet they never fulfill their promises. It is usually left for the tenants to fix. The front building steps are a death trap when they are wet but nothing had been done about this despite reports from several neighbours. All the hallways smell of wet dog and worse every evening the sickly smell of drugs being smoked invades the hallways. (where is Andrew Cowans hall monitor at these times?) One of the neighbours has been telling me that he has waited 6 months for a door handle to be replaced in his apartment. He has waited in 3 times for workmen that were promised but never arrived.
I have bags of rubbish left almost on the doorstep, my door buzzer rang at 2:30 am waking me up for me to go to the door and receive verbal abuse.
Andrew Cowan should make their safe aware that they are representatives of their employer at all times especially when they are a tenant of theirs and to behave accordingly.
Andrew Cowan victimise their tenants and obviously encourage their staff to be rude and abusive.

i dont think it is wise a solicitor would have to be present or tv for me as i was set up by corrupt doctors and cps leeds by fulford police and court officials well known my phone was off but!!!! still interested in bunglow but abit to high in rent due to high crime area prefer a different agent ...

Thank you for your review. However, I feel you are aiming unnecessary fury in the wrong direction. We at Andrew Cowen are only key holders for the two properties within your block on Albion Road, we do not manage the building nor arrange for any contractual works to take place. These properties are currently being sold and contractors are managed by a corporate client whom have arranged all said works.
