Jack was not very communicative or honest about the flat that I was buying. He didn't tell me that the flat was on the market a few months prior to my purchase and that the previous buyers dropped out due to problems with the registration of the title deeds. As a result of this, my solicitor advised me to drop out since the property was not saleable and I lost £1,500. The flat was then back on the market again but for £30k less, showing that the owner and the agency knew that it would not be possible to sell the flat at its full price with the legal issues with the title deeds.

Jack was not honest and denied this. He didn't turn up for one of the viewings and didn't send his apologies for this. I would advise everyone to stay away from this agency.

Jack is no longer with the team at CSJ so I am unable to follow up a complaint of this nature.

I am however aware of this sale and feel your review to be un justified with regards to the title issue and that you were lied to

Our client was the property owner in this transaction and we work for them to achieve the best possible price for their property which is something we continually succeed in doing.

You as the buyer would have been given the information we as the agent are expected and duty bound to provide

I can confirm after you pulled out from the sale we immediately secured a new buyer who went on to have the minor title issue resolved and completed the purchase.

I would say the fact you followed the advice of your over cautious lawyer cost you £1500 and if you had continued to purchase once told the issue could easily be resolved then this review would be somewhat different.

I am familiar with the postcode and this must relate to a new development of 11 apartments which we successfully sold (most of plan).
