I cannot overstate the excellent service provided by Gascoigne Halman in the sale of my house. Initially I rang two estate agents because whilst I was sure that I would use Gascoigne Halman I thought I should make a comparison. After the initial call to both agents I decided not to even ask the other agency to come and look at my house. First impressions are very important and I wanted to know that any prospective buyer would be received with politeness and enthusiasm, ( first box ticked ). Fay arrived promptly and was polite, respectful and helpful and informed me that they would accompany viewers themselves and not use part time viewing staff, ( second box ticked ). Numerous photos were taken and Fay gave sound reasons for the value which she suggested the property be marketed at. ( I believe there is absolutely no benefit in marketing at a price which is too high but have to say that I had expected it to be loweran Fay suggested.) The house was 'launched' the following Saturday with a number of carefully timed viewings and my buyers have told me that they went straight home and rang up to offer the asking price. So far so good..... From that point on Susan took over and I was absolutely confident that she was continually progress chasing and advancing the sale. Whenever I rang Susan was available and whenever Susan said that she would ring back she never failed to ring back. I was very reassured that both me and my buyer were updated as soon as anything occurred. It was such a relief to know that I was in such capable hands. Needless to say; everything ran so smoothly that from the date that Fay first attended, to completion was just seven weeks. Gascoigne Halman gets a 10 from me !
