We contacted Foxtons Harrow branch in May 14 to sell our property as the branch was offering a 0% sales fee as a promotion at that time.
We were promptly contacted by James who was the assigned sales manager for our property. He booked the appointment with us to come and do the valuation of our property and came on the agreed date / time.
James was very through, professional, helpful which helped us make our decision. The valuation done by James was realistic (and above our expectation). Once we decided to go with Foxtons, James handled all the paperwork, arrangements for photographer, reports etc and we had to do nothing whatsoever.
The house was professionally photographed, brochure prepared and once we authorised, these were published on Foxton's website and all other major portals.
James's teams started calling customers and prepare for the launch day, which was handled by Shaun himself.
At the back of the launch, we received 3 offers, which was great and we went with one. This buyer retracted the offer after sometime, but James came back to us prepared with other offers.
Shaun / James and their teams kept us in loop on the progress throughout the process and we completed our sale without any hiccups. They were always professional and patient with us and returned our nervous calls as and when they had any information for us.
Though Foxtons were not charging any sales fee to us as per the promotion, we never felt that we received a sub quality service.
I would happily recommend Shaun / James and his team in Harrow, to anyone who wish to sell their property with Foxtons, and will not hesitate to pay for the services, next time we decide to sell our house. I have realised that the quality you receive and the price Foxtons get for your property is worth the money paid to them as sales fee.

Whilst Foxtons fees are higher than some other estate agents, in our opinion, they worked incredibly hard and delivered the results others agents weren't able to and achieved a higher price for our property. You get what you pay for and we got a top notch service from Foxtons and were very happy with the results.

I understand that you pay a higher fee for a better service but, although happy with the service, I feel the fees are too far in excess of their competitors. If the fee remained higher than other agents but was lower than it currently is, the agency might find they attract far more custom whilst increasing their bottom line.
