I've rented a property through them, they advised that the property is nice and clean, everything working.
When I moved into the property, it was FILTHY, I don't think it has been cleaned in the last year or so, cockroaches and appliances that did not work. I contacted the agency within 24 hours of moving in, and they said that I cannot quit the contract for the next 6 months. When I explained the cockroach issue, their response was : "I have never seen a cockroach in England"; very professional indeed.
I also explained that some appliances don't work, and they advised that they cannot do anything and I should speak with my landlord; when contacting the landlord, he said that he lives too far to come and fix this.
After 2 weeks I found another person who was willing to move into the property, and when we went to the agency to the same agent that made the contract, she advised that the new tenant has to pay 300 Pounds for the new contract, and I have to pay another 300 Pounds (although I already paid this when moving in) for the contract. After I refused and told the agent that I will not pay another 300 Pounds, the next day she contacted me and said that it is possible to make the renewal of the contract for only 300 Pounds which were paid by the new tenant. My conclusion for this is that they are only hunting commissions; they don't give a toss about providing a decent service.
I do NOT recomend the services they provide to anyone, from my point of view, they are THIEVES, trying to rip off anyone who makes the mistake of chosing the services they provide.

When I occupied 15 Scardale the property was filthy and the previous tenant had wrecked the "newly fitted" kitchen. Haart had also used photos from before the previous tenant occupied the property when they posted the listing.
