I appointed Manning Stainton to deal with the sale of my elderly parents property with a view to moving them close to me due to their ill health. I had interviewed three other estate agents who I was not entirely happy with.
Jamie came round and immediately impressed with his knowledge of the local area prices and pleasant demeanour. He gave my parents certain re-assurances both verbally and in writing and kept them.
He priced the house higher than two of the other estate agents had said we would get and we achieved a sale on the first viewing.
Within two weeks we had agreed a sale price on our property and a purchase price on the property my parents have moved into.
Liz helped us secure our sale and along with Jamie advised us on what to offer on our purchase.
She also helped my parents filling in property questionnaires etc.
Beverley was excellent throughout. She responds to every e mail and phone call quickly. She deals with purchasers, estate agents and solicitors and takes the stress out of the whole process for you.
She was very kind and re-assuring every time my parents called in to the office and made sure there was more than a week between exchange and completion.
In fact everyone in Wakefield branch are very pleasant and efficient.
I would also recommend GM Wilson solicitors and Whites removals who Manning Stainton Wakefield use, they are both efficient and reasonably priced.
I would recommend anyone looking for an estate agents in Wakefield to look no further than Manning Stainton, the whole process from initial meeting with Jaime to moving in to the new property took 13 weeks exactly.
