To advertise a renovated workshed as a one-bedroom farmhouse is scandalous. They state that it "is believed" to date from the early 1800s; the belief has not been tinged by the slightest research - all historical documents show it did not exist until c1872. And to state that a workshop for repairing equipment for the mines was a stable for the mine's shire horses is utterly untrue. As a previous owner who also headed up a local history project, I have presented Blundells with all the facts and relevant cross references and been ignored. Any company that plays that fast and loose with the information about one property I know could never be trusted to tell the truth about anything they sell.
