Everyone on the team here was extremely helpful - initially Richard and Abdul saw our sale through, and when our buyers sadly pulled out at the very last minute (no fault of Paul Simon) the entire team seemed to work tirelessly to re-sell the house - in a different market they managed to sell it again in 3 weeks for just very slightly under what we'd accepted before, leaving us able to buy the house we'd wanted all along, and then Sagar helped us push through from offer to exchange of contracts in less than 3 weeks! He was our main contact at this point but I have to say I was very impressed that whenever we called the office in those 3 weeks, everyone on the team knew of our property and the situation and was extremely helpful, and it was very reassuring to feel that they had us in mind and not to have to re-explain ourselves whenever we made contact. Would absolutely recommend.
Comment on agent fees
Fees seemed competitive - originally it said 1.5% on the form but Richard immediately said they would do it for 1% + VAT - I assume they say this to everyone! It's a big chunk of money but no more (and sometimes less) than fees quoted by other local agents.

I appreciate you may be disappointed with Paul Simon, however I run the sales office as a franchise and have no control over the lettings office of Paul Simon homes - please aim you complaint to the right department rather than pulling the sales office down with an incorrect complaint that bears no relation to us. It does add up, if you want me to upload the contract of sale I would happily do so. 3 viewing for my property in ten weeks and the offer was made on the phone not in writing which is against the law. Honest advice given on the housing market in the Harringay area. We worked with the guys at Paul Simon to set a realistic price based on the timescale within which we wanted to move. We had several offers and were happy with the price achieved and the negotiation process.
