Pur house had been up for sale with another local agent.We were initially encourage to try an auction basis at what seemed an ambitious price.There were noviewings or offers! The price was then reducued but with minimal response,it seemed stagnant.
It seemed a good idea to try another agent ie Haart of Petersfield if only to stimulate some interest.They seemed happy with the price & within days viewings materialized.
in the end there were 2 genuinely interested buyers & Haarts achieved a sale slightly above the asking price.
They were positive,efficient & always honest.We found ourselves somewhat surprised to respect them all,particularly "Rob"

Too late in the day,the original agents came up with a higher offer.To help close the gap Haart accepted a reduced fee of 1%. That still meant a potential loss of ‚£4.5k but we were happy to take this "Hit"
