We originally listed 2 houses with a different estate agent and had no luck whatsoever. When we contacted Wendy at Reeds Rains to arrange a viewing of one of their marketed properties, she never stopped bombarding us properties that met our criteria that we might be interested in. We liked Wendy's proactive style and thought we would like our property marketed in the same way. I am a firm believer in people and Wendy was genuine. There wasn't a lot of movement early on, but this didn't stop Wendy phoning me weekly to update and discuss ways forward. Eventually we agreed sales for both and all our problems were over!!! Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of 7 months of hell! Every obstacle that could be put in our way was. From the council, to unhelpful solicitors, to lenders and a very unhelpful and rude estate agent also based in Hyde. Once we had agreed the sale in February Gaynor Parkinson became our link. I cannot speak highly enough of this ladies commitment, friendship, decency and professionalism. She has been the only person who has pushed the sale and more than that she has listened. At times I have been a difficult client and Gaynor has never refused my call (despite definitely wanted to on numerous occasions).. She has contacted us virtually daily to keep us updated, and bore the brunt of some of my frustration, despite being the only one who has done anything. We very nearly walked away, but Gaynor kept our spirits up and sought answers where no-one else could even be bothered. We have finally reached the end and everything has been completed. This is mainly down to Gaynor, she treated you like people rather than CLIENTS! If anyone at Reeds Rains wants to discuss this further please feel free to contact me.

What rubbish. We found alternative accommodation on the basis we was able to leave, and now you won't let us leave early because both RR and the landlords are too greedy to let us off 14 days early. Had we stayed the term then we risk a possibility of not even finding a new home. I will list the repairs I've undertaken myself at my own costs.
