Quite simply the worst estate agents I have ever come across. They do not care about their tenants and try and charge them for everything. The fact that Mr Wilkinson only responds in a childish defensive manner, rather than taking on board the constructive criticism displayed on this website, is clear indication of the level of service you can expect to get from them. Stay well away from this company, you have been warned.
What agent could do to change your mind?
They should remember their tenants are paying customers also and should at least try and maintain a basic level of good customer services. If they do not know what this is, then maybe a staff training day should be organised and then they can put all the money they have ripped off from tenants to good use.

Oh Mr Wilkinson. If you put the same amount of effort into your customer care, as you do on here defending your company's appalling behaviour, maybe then you will be able to get at least ONE good review. Until then I'll guess we will just wait for your next tirade of pathetic excuses and explanations for your disgrace of a business. However please feel free to continue to display your attitude on here, I am sure it will provide positive advertising for your business. "Ranked 173 out of 175 in Slough League Table", can't really argue with that.

Unfortunately you have forgotten to say who you are, where you rented or the circumstances surrounding your comments, conveniently just like the other people listed below. ‘Taking on board constructive criticism’ is not possible when absolutely nothing is known about the circumstances of the situation.

Of the thousands of tenancies we have handled in 20 years, major post-tenancy disagreements are rare, but of course they can occur. Sometimes this is due to inventory clerk issues, sometimes errors on our part but, mostly, it is due to poor understanding (or compliance) by tenants of their tenancy obligations. Other tenants are just bad and should be stayed well away from.

We have never ‘ripped off’ anybody, that I can say with complete confidence without even knowing who on earth you are. Our tenancy admin fees are the lowest in the area (80% lower than some other agent’s charges – see the comparison on our website).

If you are referring to end of tenancy costs that is, of course, the inventory clerk’s determination. These have to be agreed by the ex-tenant in any case, and any costs that are agreed are for the relevant contractors, not us.

If you don’t like my tone, then grow up and be specific about your comments and the property they relate to. Please do let me know who you are and I can then reply in detail. You’d be the first to do so on this website.

Another phantom 'review' packed with untruths. Why do you not admit who you are to enable your lies to be answered? There's only one reason. However some points to be made: We aren't even open at 8AM Saturdays. How did we 'take your money in other ways'? Our inventories are performed by an independent clerk and any deductions from a deposit have to be approved by the ex-tenant. In 19 years we have never had a tenant with the first name of ‘Daisy’, so I assume you are someone with so little conviction in your comments that you’ve decided to change names. From the information in your comments I know which property and tenancy this relates to. Unfortunate as it is, outgoing tenants are often surprised at the thoroughness of the independent inventory clerk (I am not sure why you imply they are not independent?). Whilst it is not inconceivable that carpets were soiled during viewings, I think it is unlikely, and surely you would have commented on it at the time. That the sofa was soiled by the agent as well does seem rather far-fetched. It is no ...
