I was a tenant and secured the property for 6 month lease through Bridgfords.
Lettings team were fantastic and efficient up until the moment they handed me the keys.
From this moment on the service was the worst I have ever received by a country mile.
I informed them of several maintenance issues with the property at the beginning of the tenancy - despite repeated requests to get these fixed the majority were not completed the entire time I was at the property. A light that was broken when we arrived was never fixed! The dining area was in darkness for 6 months! The shower was scolding hot and was never fixed.
One other thing - they went on and on at us about not having the right keys to get into the apartment (using it as an excuse not to carry out maintenance) so I got them a set of keys cut - and they lost them!!!
Apart from terrible response on maintenance issues we are yet to receive our damage deposit back from the agent even though we moved out over 2 weeks ago and they will not answer our calls or give us any info. This is very concerning and we are starting proceedings to lodge a complaint.

What agent could do to change your mind?
I think Bridgfords are probably severely understaffed for the properties they maintain. When I got any attention from the maintenance manager she wasn't too bad. All that was needed was more communication and more following through on promises (e.g. 'I'll get the maintenance man to come round' and 'I'll call you in half an hour' - these promises were never fulfilled)Attached Filesnbsp;
