Dear Haart,
I am writing you to file a complaint regarding hart agency in Milton Keynes. The agent ignores me. I left the property last august 29 2014 which was sold to new owner with chinese name last June 2, 2014. So I finished my contract for a year as stated. However, since I left last august 29, 2014 until now my deposit is still not with me. So , yesterday I rang and spoke head office and they said that the the previous owner must authorise(?) first the release of the deposit. Is this true? I signed the contract stating to complete the 1 year duration specified and pay the due rent then I will be able to get the deposit. So why is this that Milton Keynes hart Lettings is holding my deposit? Do I have to beg from them to release it? This is totally ridiculous.
So, I emailed again the agent Ms. Ellis June Mackie but there it is as usual no reply from her. Called her office and left my contact details again but no reply. So I emailed the previous property owner hoping this will make it quicker but to my surprise he said he has no power nor control over the security deposit nor any dealings with hart as he already sold this property, so I must contact hart as they are the ones securing the deposit.
I am very disappointed being passed on. For me this is totally unacceptable being an agency and yet no commitment to faithful customers making me feel so ignored. I have finished my contract and payment as stated and I don't think I deserve a treatment like this. I have consulted my private solicitor and I advised to take further actions if this remains unresolved. I have all the important documents and receipts that can prove that I have given a flat security deposit of 823.84 at the start of tenancy. I need the answers as I have been waiting long now for it. I expected hart to contact me but since I left the flat no email nor phone calls received from them confirming when can I get back this money or not even a status follow up. I even have emailed property management but NOT even a reply from them has been received.
I am very frustrated, and disappointed. I will certainly take further actions regarding this if remains unresolved.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Yes as an agent they should cater to needs of their customers regardless of status. I felt the discrimination and this is not fair.

Studio flat 1 bedroom only but very expensive. I find the property unfairly expensive.
