I would completely avoid dealing with this company if possible.

We received very vague information regarding our move in date so I sent a formal, none offensive e-mail asking what was going on and requesting an official move in date by the end of the day.

The lady dealing with us did not seem to appreciate the tone of my e-mail and decided that (3 working days before our move in date) she was returning our money and refused us the let. She then went on to say that this wasn't just due to my e-mail but also because she didn't feel that we would meet the income requirements.

Although this was a more professional reason for leaving us high and dry-I was still curious as to why this was only coming to light now. Ideal timing that no less then 5 minutes after my e-mail had been received, it came into light that our income wasn't ok ? Should it not have been investigated before now? Before we gave a £500.00 holding deposit, before we gave them over £2000.00 and a little sooner then practically a week before the originally agreed move in date?

All in all I would not deal with these people. Refusing a let on the grounds of an e-mail that you personally just didn't like ( I have shown several people this e-mail, all of whom completely agree that there was nothing insulting, offensive or aggressive within it) is not good business practice, its taking things personally as opposed to doing your job.

We are now due out of our current apartment in under a week, now have no place to go and are more then a little put out.

Money hungry agents. Make a bad name for themselves only. No respect or profesionalism whatsoever to clients. Avoid at all costs and go to a better estate agent on Ballards Lane. I would never give my business to them again....

*They expect you to go into the office (20th century style) for everything! They use tenants of questionable mind as moles to spy on other tenants. (By their own admission). They enter your property without permission, their contractors are given keys to all the flats. ...
