Before putting our house on the market, I met a variety of agents from the Weybridge area - Neal from Grants was the only one who didn't come out with the usual patter you might expect. His advice and recommendations were based on excellent knowledge of the local market and he didn't just tell me what he thought I wanted to hear - this real world/common sense approach was very appealing and the main reason I chose to use Grants.
There is also the fact that they're independent, which I believe means they'll work harder on your behalf than the larger chains of agents. There was evidence of this when some of the agents from other firms that I'd had round to value the house didn't even bother to follow up the valuation. Neal on the other hand maintained a constant dialogue (without being pushy at all), providing invaluable advice on asking price based on an appraisal of other comparable properties on the market at the same time, plus what price similar places had sold for over the preceding few months.
Having dealt initially with Neal, our actual sale was dealt with by Daniel. The price negotiations were expertly managed and the final price secured was much closer to what we were hoping for than had looked likely after the initial offer.
Daniel did a great job of controlling a difficult chain, beset by problems caused by other buyers/sellers in the chain. He kept us well informed and dealt with issues very calmly and sensibly as they arose, including some sticking points that threatened to derail the whole process.
I would have no issue in recommending Grants and don't believe you'll find a better agent in the area.

Comment on agent fees
The fees were very competitive when benchmarked against other agents in the area. I believe they may have actually been the lowest out of the agents we met, but this wasn't the reason we chose them, rather a welcome added benefit.
