I had a terrible experience with Haart. They were unprofessional, unhelpful and lacked integrity.
Some highlights included:
Twice an estate agent called Caspar left our back door unlocked having showed people around. The second time was after we'd already told him how important it was for him to lock the back door having been previously burgled.
Another time I was in the house and upstairs in one of the bedrooms. An estate let himself in (without knocking) and used our bathroom (without even asking me if this was okay!)
They also lacked integrity and positively encouraged us to accept another (higher) offer when we'd already accepted one. Obviously just thinking of their commission.
In the end, Haart did nothing to progress the sale or chain. Instead it was the property owners in the chain who had to liaise with each other to progress the sale. It must have been the easiest commission Haart ever made because they did absolutely nothing.
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Comment on agent fees
I agreed a sliding scale depending on the sale price achieved: - over ‚£1.25M : 1.25% - less than ‚£1.25M : 1% I accepted an offer of ‚£1.2M, so the fees charged were 1% which is in lline with the going rate for higher valued properties.
