I did not go with the Agent who gave the highest valuation or promised an over the top sale price but chose to trust in Pedder Herne Hill who were more realistic and I believe honest, about the potential sale of the flat. I agreed with them that it was better to achieve a good price quickly rather than over price the flat and have to reduce the price at a later date. Simon Hitchens from Pedder handled the sale brilliantly and I cannot believe how much effort and hard work he put into securing the sale when the flat was undervalued compared to offer price by mortgage evaluators. I left him to deal with all the negotiations, took his advice and it made the sale as stress free as possible for me. In his absence I dealt with another negotiator who was full briefed on the sale. iSimon is a very experienced sales executive and he fully understands the property market in the area and potential buyers. I never had any problem getting hold of Simon or one of his colleagues. I found everyone helpful and knowledgeable - not just office staff taking calls and messages. I have no hesitation in recommending Pedder in Herne Hill for those thinking of selling. I cannot comment about the buying experience but if I am looking in the area in the future I will be going back to Pedder.
