I recently bought a repossessed property through Reeds Rains in Burnley. I used their own mortgage advisor Kevin Twinney and he did an absolutely fantastic job. Prior to this, I was a little dubious about using an estate agent's own mortgage advisor as I'd heard that the rates were worse and only used a small number of lenders. However, after consulting 2 independent mortgage advisors and conducting my own internet searches, the deals that Kevin offered me were considerably better than any offered elsewhere. In buying a repo, you have to move very quickly (complete within a month) and with Kevin's expert help I was able to complete the whole process in 3 weeks. He was able to collaborate with my solicitor (who was not the one recommended by Reeds Rains, which I thought might slow things down but Kevin ensured that it didn't) and speed up the whole process in a way that I don't think I could have done making the process was very quick and seamless. However, I think the best aspect of dealing with Kevin was that he is very knowledgeable and professional whilst being easy to talk to and very approachable. It really felt like he was on my side and giving me impartial guidance on many aspects of the buying process.
As a first time buyer, Kevin was an absolute godsend, I cannot recommend him highly enough, he made a stressful situation enjoyable. Thank you Kevin!
