I first began dealing with this agency when I was interested in a house to let, when I telephoned Steve was extremely informed and helpful. I made an appointment to view the property later in the week. On the day of the viewing Andrews called me to confirm my attendance and most helpfully advise me that there was a huge amount of interest and recommended I attend on time as they would be considering a number of tenants and their suitability for the landlords preferences. Upon viewing the showing agent was refreshingly honest about what the landlord would and would not do to the house. I called the office as soon as I left to express my interest and give personal details (when I could move in, that I have a dog, my profession etc) to Steve who was very helpful and said I would hear from them after they spoke to the landlord. He even recommended I ask for a 6 month break clause as I explained I was looking to buy in the near future and didn't necessarily want a lengthy tenancy - this was a really nice touch. I was informed the following day that I was successful and we proceeded with the usual formalities. Since moving in Kerry has been super helpful, there were a several maintenance issues with the house which she arranged to have fixed around my work schedule and kept in communication with me throughout. In short Andrews have been both professional and relaxed/friendly and I am pleased with their service.
Comment on agent fees
The fees were far higher than I have paid previously for credit checking and contracts.
