We have rented for over ten years and have never dealt with such an incompetent agent.
Very defensive rather than finding solutions and some things that are just crazy. No receipt of bond and advance rent payment, to which they don't believe they have ever given? If you pay a company a few thousand pound you expect a receipt? Also queried sending bank statements over email to which they assured they are very secure to then be emailed strangers documents! our Flat still has faults including live wire exposed smoke alarm (damaged before arrival). Had to track down the property management myself to try and sort a problem with the sky satellite dish alignment. I would be utterly embarrassed to be working for or director of this company. The only person at the Crystal Palace branch who seems to care at all was Autumn. She really tried to help but seems that she has little power to actually follow it through. From day one we have done Streets Ahead' job for them from sorting the reference company to speaking directly to property management (to which Streets Ahead should be sorting). I don't like leaving bad reviews but felt I had to have some sort of voice against the appalling service of Streets Ahead.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent should have done their job. Not been Defensive when questioned about poor service.
We just wanted solutions to concerns and issues at our property, not an argument.
