I am very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the service you have received. We do aim to give the highest possible level of service. We have a very high number of positive reviews on the allAgents website (ranking 16th in the UK in 2013) with over 98% positive reviews to date, reflecting the service that we provide.
I have looked into this matter and understand from the information you have provided and our notes confirm that you originally viewed this property on Thursday 14th August. You then contacted us to arrange a 2nd viewing. I can confirm that the property was let on Saturday 16th August so before any 2nd viewing was able to take place. Had you been in a position to make an offer on/before that Saturday then it would have been passed to the Landlord to consider with any other offers.
At present the level of applicants applying for each property is high and properties are often let within a few days of marketing commencing. To assist our Landlord clients we do try to obtain as much relevant information, whether it be financial situation or other. The fact that you and your partner are self employed is certainly not an issue for us as an agency, but reference companies will usually request at least 1 full tax year of company accounts to pass their criteria. (We try to prevent applicants wasting money on agency fees when we know that there will be issues going through the reference process).
