I rented a flat with Zone for three years and they have been great. We were originally going to rent with a much bigger, well known agency in Edinburgh but we found our flat with Zone and it is been great to deal with a smaller, more personal rental agency. I have rented a number of flats over the years and it is so nice to deal with a small team, who know who you are and can be very flexible, especially as I am a mum with two small children.

For example, one time when I locked myself out of the flat, they were very happy to lend me a spare set of keys with no issues at all or equally happy to rearrange flat visits/inspections around my children's schedules.

They were also pretty quick on responding to any issues we had in the flat and arranging for workmen to come and fix any problems we had. The checking out process at the end was very straight forward and we received our deposit back very promptly, which is always much appreciated, especially as we were having to sort out finances for our new property.

All in all, a small but efficient local based agency that I have no hesitation in recommending.

Thanks for the heads up. I had already started a file when I saw this comment, so I was resolved to turn down whatever offer they came at me with. I was curious to see not if but how he would try to scam me. Ross has stepped up his game. His proposal looked just legal enough to be tempting except for the fact that it was TOTALLY ILLEGAL according to the Tenancy Act of 2019.
