I came in contact with Karen and Matt few months ago when I was buying my first property.
Although, I wasn't directly buying from Nicol & Co, they were the Agent at the top of the chain.
We had our share of problems with the buying process when completion dates suggested by our vendor were not met.
This was compounded by complete breakdown of communications between involved parties which caused immense stress.

Once Karen was involved she understood the situation, she actively took charge and responsibility to understand the blocking issues and ensured that the cause of delays and revised time-scales for completion were communicated to all parties. She even ensured that all the parties were kept up date with the progress and that the bottlenecks were removed.

Both Matt and Karen went over and beyond what would be expected from any Estate Agent to ensure that the chain didn't fall apart.
Their professionalism and helpfulness were key to the successful completion for the whole chain.

It would be fair to say that, without Karen's and Matt's effort there was a very high chance of the deal falling apart.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
