Having been renting privately for at least 7 years I can honestly say that I haven't had a worst experience. Reading through previous reviews it has been mentioned that the level of professionalism is little to be desired and I quite agree.
Whilst they are more then accommodating during your sign up, once money is handed over its all down hill from there. Im not a sensitive person but I am upset enough by the service I have received to want to write a review. Again as previously mentioned by another reviewer, I too felt judged and belittled and going by the unpleasant responses to others reviews here, I feel quite justified in my opinion. Its very 'tit for tat' and rather then taking people's reviews on board and learning from lessons it appears they would rather hit back which seems spiteful to me.
I didn't feel valued or cared for as a person or a user of their service and I am quite relieved to not have to deal with them.
Clearly the customer isn't always right in the view of Park and Bailey.

What agent could do to change your mind?
There needs to be a better standard of 'Good Practice' I don't believe this Agency value their Clients in their Lettings department and this, I feel, should be looked at and considered. I have never been made to feel like the way the Staff here have made me feel.Attached Filesnbsp;

I think your concern that your voice would not be heard is unfair, as mentioned we have a robust complaints procedure and if not satisfied as members of the Property Redress Scheme you can take your complaint further. Without an understanding of your situation I can only but guess the situation from your text. Whilst I feel our services are second to none I do accept that mistakes can happen. If I thought for a minute that my voice would be heard fairly then I would make a formal complaint. Unfortunately, the utter lack of professionalism gives me little hope!And your assumptions of the particular situation I was in are completely wrong. Maybe you should do a little less guessing a little more changing?? A simple apology for how I felt would have been sufficient?

It is always disappointing to receive negative feedback, and of course difficult to respond without knowing who you are and the sequence of events you have been through.It would appear you had a positive experience in securing the property, going through the referencing process and signing contracts. Payment is not taken until the day before you move in and the procedure there is simply to collect keys and collect the documentation pack so I am not sure what could have gone wrong from then.
It would appear from the context of your post that you moved into one of our properties yet you then suggest you will never have to deal with us again which I assume means we were employed on a Let Only basis by the Landlord [where we find, reference, complete documentation and lodge the deposit] which means you are now dealing directly with the Landlord.
Our fees are transparent at every step of the way and are by no means the most expensive in the area.
I would ask that you contact us and formally put your complaint forward, we have a robust in house complaints procedure and if you are not satisfied with the outcome as members of the Property Redress Scheme you can take your complaint further.

It is very disappointing to receive negative comments and we take all feedback very seriously. However after discussions with the lettings team, to confirm although you have been a tenant since 1994 we only took over management of this property in February of this year. We inherited the majority of the on going problems and the nuisance order was in place prior to our involvement.
