Do Not Listen to their recommendations!
Having appointed Bridgfords to sell our property in April this year we foolishly accepted their recommendation to use their approved solicitors, Contrywide Conveyancing. They also recommended our buyer to use another of their "recommended" solicitors, namely "*".
It transpires that Countrywide are part of the same group, hence the recommendation. Just what their relationship with Panonne is I'm not sure, but it plainly isn't based on quality of service.
We sold our house within a month, back at the beginning of June and their is no real "chain" to speak of.
We should have exchanged contracts and completed weeks ago but every day that passes we just get fobbed off by all concerned. Bridgfords say they are chasing Countrywide, Countrywide are chasing "*" etc etc.
In reality the only person doing any chasing or running round trying their best to oil the wheels is me.
No one appreciates the situation the customer is in, callbacks do not happen within a reasonable time, solicitors hardly ever respond promptly or efficiently and the general customer service experience is nothing short of abysmal.
I have been at my wits end for the last three weeks and refrained from writing this review until now, we have missed 2 target completion dates and now it look like we will miss another

I thought the service was excellent and Beverley the agent knew the information well to sell the house. Her colleagues were equally as helpful and also knew my house when completing any viewing.
I would recommend them to anyone who needs to sell there home ...

Bridgfords Burnley have had bad reviews for their Lettings Department for the last few years and as a Landlord who formerly used them I can confirm that they did deserve it - then. But not now! The incompetent members of staff are no longer there ...

Terrible company - all tell lies and contradict one another. Do not keep to their contracts and give false information. Would never use them again had to fight to get our deposit back. Also the whole time we were with them did not sort out ...
