Awful customer service - unfriendly staff, less than half of the problems with the house that we raised were actually dealt with, and those that were eventually dealt with were done after weeks of phone calls and emails. Some of these issues were quite serious e.g. our fire alarm never worked, and we mentioned this several times and nothing was ever done.
Poor housing quality - house was generally very poor, and was falling to pieces by the end of our tenancy, and they claimed it was us who caused this damage. When we moved in to the house, it was completely filthy e.g. cigarette butts under the beds, and a sink full of dirty dishes.
Overcharging in our deposits, and attempts to convince us that we still owed rent at the end of the tenancy, when this was simply not the case.
Although they glamourise their houses with big tv's and false promises, taking as much money from their tenants seems to be their only motive. I highly recommend anyone considering becoming one of their tenants to look elsewhere instantly.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Significantly improve customer service and quality of housing.

Fees were high for the area, but this was understandable as the location was idea (very close to university) and the house included 8 bedrooms. However the quality of the interior was very poor - things broke without even being touched, and bathrooms and the kitchen was filthy beyond the point of being cleanable.
