Mid way through my tenancy we had a gas problem where the oven was occasionally leaking gas and the ignition would stop part way through cooking. Beal's remained unconcerned and took almost a month to resolve this problem.
We have finally departed the property (thank God) and Beal's are deducting ridiculous figures from our deposit for cleaning charges totalling almost £600 when we left it spotless and had a company in beforehand to clean the property at our own expense!
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have responded a lot quicker to our gas problems and should not take advantage when deducting from tenant's deposits
