I've been renting using Life residential since 2008. I would put them as one of the worst London agents. I don't know any other agency which charges so many and high charges, which completely disrespect tenant's privacy, hire cheapest contractors to perform repairs ¢â‚¬â€œ in most cases they just waste your time. On average to repair something took 3 visits of various contractors. Last small issue took 6 visits and hasn't be fixed at all. As I understand Landlord was charged for every single visit. Every year they will try to increase rent to the maximum possible ¢â‚¬â€œ be prepared for 3 weeks of constant phone calls and hundreds of emails. At the end of the tenancy be prepared to fight for every single penny ¢â‚¬â€œ they standard cleaning charges is around £400 and even if you hire professional cleaning contractor, they will refuse to accept that as a ¢â‚¬Å“professional cleaning¢â‚¬Â. They checkout procedure literally took 2 hours, inspecting every single item. Some of their normal business practices are not too far from simple harassment ¢â‚¬â€œ I was called liar, screamed at. So if you are a gambling person ¢â‚¬â€œ rent using Life residential.
