After trawling estate agents to register with my son for his first property purchase, we came upon Preston Baker. A little off the beaten track, but well worth the short walk from the city centre. Having met agents with the sad story of how difficult it was to buy, property prices rising, no property on the market within our price range and so on, it was heartening to meet an agent with a positive, can-do attitude. Helen was bright, vivacious, genuine and personable; she showed there is humanity in estate agency! Her assistance in searching for property was valuable, advising on area of the city for us to focus on and type of property available in my son's budget. Most communication was with my son, but this was regular and supportive. The purchase went smoothly and she helped iron out any concerns. It was me who collected the keys, some weeks later, and Helen remembered me, congratulated me on my son's successful purchase, wished me well and had time to have a normal conversation about matters quite unrelated. Helen is easy to be with, takes personal interest in the client and the purchase, offers support as needed and I would certainly return with repeat business in the future. Thanks Helen!
