Worst experience as a buyer of a Purple Bricks house no one cared about person buying the property hard to get keys handed over no correspondence unhelpful. House I bought was left in a disgusting state with broken items stated ok on property information forms. ...

The estate agent acts for the person selling the house not the buyer. If the house was left in a bad condition, you should take that up with your own solicitor. I would not expect any estate agent to help with that. ...

Purplebricks challenged the authenticity of this review

The reviewer said "Sorry to hear that Purplebricks is attacking your site, your site is probably one of the last sites that gives a true review of Purplebricks. They seem to be trying to clear the internet of all negative reviews after their apperance on the BBC watch dog program."
There are to many problems with this company to mention here and I ended up going to the Property Ombudsman, so here are a couple. First problem is the company, they do nothing for the fee except list it on the property sites. If you ...

The reviewer said "Yes I did use Purple Bricks to try and sell my house and yes I can honestly say I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone."
Purple Bricks were efficient at the opening stages of marketing our house through them. We had a few viewings but not a huge amount . I never felt they were pursuing possible buyers and their advertising service is purely online . After we received an offer I ...

You also state the following "The fact that a house buying deal for properties costing £900k can be cancelled just like that, with no mediation or advice given to the potential buyer from purplebricks is absolutely shocking and deeply unprofessional . I have made my feelings clear to the Area Manager Richard Elphick that this system , which has left us high and dry , needs to be changed immediately" Do you really think they care, I can almost hear the laughter from here, they are already loo ...

I am currently experiencing the same problems with Purple bircks and the agent did not disclosing that if you have defered payment you have to use their Solicitors who charge a ridiculously higher fee which purple bricks takes either a commission or fee from. They despite several calls have not got back to me and we are currently in a limbo situation as all the documentation sent by their appointed overcharing solicitors was incorrect. I have contacted the TV Program Rip of Britain ( and sugges ...
