The fees are more if you live in the London area (£1100) didn't mind paying that but there was a £300 fee for them to show the property to clients this was not value for money. And don't forget the VAT. All in All for the service the fees are to much.

Sale fell through as purple bricks didn't do due diligence on the buyer wasted 6 weeks lost the house we were buying. Also charged us £360 for using other solicitors for the aborted transaction. Have now moved from purple bricks as we don't even get feedback from viewers!! All in all I would recommend not using purple bricks to anyone as they still want their £849 for this sub standard service, good luck purple bricks!! ...

I think this can be classed as elderly abuse. I'm in my fifties and went with purple bricks only to find I had to do everything myself on their nightmare of a website with no help from the agent. So I definitely think the elderly should be protected from signing up for something that they would not be qualified or have the capacity to do.
