We were extremely surprised on how much the fees where!! Compared to other agents this was the most expensive! A one off payment of ‚£650 is way off the mark especially when other agents are around ‚£400!! I really think they should review this!!! Money does not grow on trees!!

I truly believe ‚£500 is too much to edit a contract, do a tenant background checking and a check-in inventory. Last time I rented a place I had to pay ‚£350, which seems more correct in my opinion.

I did think the fees where quite expensive but other letting agents in the area where a lot more than what I have paid, considering how often I have been on the phone and emailing they have to make money and profit! No one likes having to spend more money in an ideal world.

I thought that 1.8% was quite high although this was similar with other agents - I negotiated a reduced fee of 1.5% should we achieve below a certain figure on the sale of our property. This worked in my favour as we had to renegotiate our sale price at the last minute which took our net figure down into the 1.5% range.

We are disappointed that you feel that we did not do everything we could to assist you. We did arrange numerous visits for you and a number of your trades people did go to the property but as the transaction went on the vendor became more apprehensive and the last thing we wanted was for the sale to break down.
