Comments from the current owners
"We have lived in this house for 35 very happy years, having brought up two sons in this delightful village. It is easy to get to London and the South coast from the main line stations at Christ's Hospital and Horsham and we have two bus services going East/West and North/South. Our sons went to the excellent village primary school and to the Weald for their secondary education, both going onto major Universities. There are also exceptional private schools locally and other essential institutions such as the Parish Church.
Slinfold has many amenities including a local Pub and a Hotel nearby. A Country/Golf Club and Cricket, Football and Tennis clubs are all part of village life as well as a Cub and Scout group. We have a new sports centre within a cycling distance and an indoor bowls club plus a local supermarket and a village stores for everyday purchases.
We thoroughly enjoy living in Slinfold and is why we have built ourselves a new home in the village which will be more fitting to our needs now that our sons have flown the nest. It will be difficult to part with our family home of so many years".

Situation:
Slinfold is a much sought after and picturesque village almost midway between Billingshurst and Horsham (both have direct railway services to Victoria/London Bridge). The ancient St Peter's Church and the highly regarded C E Primary School occupy central locations. For older children there is The Weald comprehensive school in Billingshurst and Tanbridge House secondary school in Horsham. Pennthorpe (mixed) and Farlington (girls) private schools are a short car journey away. There is a village store/post office and the well patronised Red Lyon Public House. Bus services to Horsham and Guildford run through the middle of the village and local sporting facilities include golf at Slinfold Park, and there are football, cricket and tennis clubs in the village and sports centres at Christ's Hospital and Broadbridge Heath.
