Crouch Park is located in the Ancient Hamlet of Hullbridge, Essex just a few minute`s drive from the A127, and approximately a 16 minute drive from junction 29 of the M25. Eight miles away is the seaside resort of Southend and the famous Cliffs Pavillion where international artistes regularly perform.
This park is nestled alongside the stunning River Crouch which is visited each year by nearly twenty-five thousand water birds including nationally important numbers of Shelduck, Shoveler, Black-tailed Godwit and Dark Bellied Brent Geese. The Essex Coast provides over-wintering for around one fifth of the world population of Dark Bellied Brent Geese with an average peak of just over 6 thousand birds (about 2.5% of the world population) congregating around the Crouch and Roach estuary.
The tidal flats, saltmarsh, coastal grassland and ditch systems also support thirteen species of nationally scarce plants and important populations of rare invertebrates. An important breeding population of grey seals can be found at the mouth of the crouch estuary.
From its lovely riverside walk which leads in to the ancient village of Hullbridge, to the many pubs serving homemade food, Crouch Park offers its inhabitants a tranquil and pleasing lifestyle. Several of the plots have riverside views and there is a good community spirit among the residents.
Bus services are available to all local towns, and the park is conveniently located for Southend and Stansted Airports with the train station being nearby. The village itself has around 7,300 residents and is steeped in history. In fact, prehistoric relics and Mesolithic flint axes have been found in the parish and the name originated from a Roman bridge that once crossed the river.
This park has all the qualities of a holiday park but with the benefit of being fully residential.
