FEES IN RELATION TO TENANCY AGREEMENTS SIGNED ON OR AFTER 1ST JUNE 2019

Tenant Fees and Permitted Payments
* Holding deposits - a maximum of 1 week’s rent
* Deposits - a maximum deposit of 5 week’s rent for annual rent below £50,000, or 6 week’s rent for annual rental of £50,000 and above
* Payments for a Variation or Change to a tenancy agreement - £50 inclusive of VAT
* Payments associated with early termination of a tenancy – capped at the landlord’s loss or the agent’s reasonably incurred costs
* Utilities, communication services ( e.g. telephone, broadband) TV licence, council tax
* Interest payments for the late payment of rent – can be charged up to 3% over the Bank of England base rate
* Reasonable costs for the replacement f lost keys or other security devices.
