"We love spending time at home, it's a hugely relaxed place to be the block is really quiet and well maintained with pretty green spaces cared for by residents, all of whom are friendly. The flat is very light, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge that has made working from home easy. We couldn't believe the previous owner had hidden the gorgeous parquet floors under carpets, so we ripped them up and restored the parquet as soon as possible! It's also probably the best connected property we've ever lived in, with four stations nearby. You can get anywhere in London, or down to the South Coast easily. Also, Gatwick is around 30 minutes away door to door by public transport, which is so handy and means no hard slog back from the airport. There are tons of good pubs locally and possibly the best Indian/Nepalese restaurant in Southeast London, Himalayan Kitchen, just down the road (go for the chicken Chettinad, trust us). There's also a really eclectic high street and possibly London's best park, Crystal Palace, with its new Sunday food market, right on the doorstep"
