A truly independent local letting agents and property management company

From day one, we had a set idea of what we wanted to achieve with our company. We have always believed that the single most vital ingredient to making our company successful is customer service with constant and never ending improvement.

Pinewood was formed in 2004, opening its first office in Chesterfield. We began by offering property management and residential lettings in the Derbyshire area, soon expanding to Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Five years on, we have established ourselves as a customer friendly letting agents.

So from the beginning, we have set out to make sure we offer the highest quality brochures, the latest technology, and constant contact with all our clients and as much advertising as is needed to name just a few. as a go ahead property management company and letting agents, we know ourselves that the devil is in the detail.

I think considering the apartment's size with no garden the rates are the maximum they can be for an apartment style building in this location, but we are perfectly happy. The one contention I do have with the property is how the bills are paid as we have no access to the utility meters to check water, gas, and electric in this building. There was a problem trying to resolve a pricing issue with the water bill which was ‚£95.00 alone for our first 3 weeks living here. Then after complaining it was reduced to ‚£80+ for the month which was x4 times too much for a little place like this. It did get resolved in the end but it was a pain and not how I'd like to deal with my bills.

We were asked to purchase a fridge and washing machine for the new tenants which we did and these were delivered within a week. I am sure we could have said no but we want tenants to be happy and to settle in.

Pinewood's management fees are reasonable, in my experience so far. I am unable to say for sure whether they have obtained the best possible rent. The rent was not increased after 12 months although I thought it might be increased slightly.
