In response I would firstly like to say this tenancy dates back to december 2007. I find your comments interesting to say the least. I find it hard to accept the ombudsman would only offer £200 as opposed to the £2,000 you felt owed. Reading the case review the ombudsman awarded the money not through any financial loss whatsoever, it was awarded for inconvienience caused. Nothing to do with this issue but I love the fact that you charge 13 days rent for refrencing and administration costs. Would be interesting to understand how letting agencies justify charges at the best of times, in this case its even more interesting as it seems Parkers believe that administration and references cost more based on the rental of the property they are letting.... maybe they are charging for the strain of writing an extra digit on the preprinted rental contract.. ...

No fees information available
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
