Do not rent with Ocean. The amount of hoops you have to jump through just to rent a property with these guys isn’t worth the hassle. The agency fees are ridiculous and the insurance you have to take out to ‘’protect’’ your deposit is inappropriate. Lived in the property a year now and have always had problems, plus the rent has gone up ! When raising a problem you get told one thing from one person and then another from someone else. Outrageous I was charged 500 pounds in relisting fees as I had to leave contract early due aggressive and anti social neighbours who lived in he flat above. They refused to not charge me due to no fault of my own and then stated they had nothing to do with the issue and it was up to the landlord. They promote this property and is on their books!

Improvements: - Turning up to viewings. - Canceling as soon as they think access to the property will be a problem (24 hour notice would be perfect or at least the evening before). - Returning phone calls.

- Greater clarity and communication regarding where the process was at. - More polite and less pedantic staff. - Greater clarity over exactly when the holding fee would be returned to us. - Fewer viewings for properties with some minimal feedback if rejected.
