The result was the creation of Nelsons, which opened its doors in one of London’s most diverse and cosmopolitan areas of Brixton. My daughter is in the same situation. Having recently moved out of a property managed by Nelsons, she is having an ongoing battle with Muniza Adams who is not giving back the deposit. Her excuse every time is that she is waiting to hear from the landlord, but so far has not made any progress or explained why the landlord needs to be contacted. Surely Nelsons should keep the deposit in a separate bank account, not give it to the landlord and then try to get it back.
