We note your comments however, we were disappointed that we were unable to sell the house but it was marketed for more money than we had valued the property and note that the other Agent sold it for less than our valuation. Unfortunately, this tenant would never get a reference form us due to the condition he left the property in, a brand-new property when he moved in, that had to be fully re-carpeted & repainted throughout when he left. Had he been the landlord of this property he would have been as appalled as we were at the condition. We have never had a property Ombudsman complaint from him. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
