The tenancy was made in June 2010 and the deposit was never registered by the owners of the business then, some 9 years ago. I have helped both the landlord and the tenant to discover what had happened at the time the tenancy was written. Making a full investigation with the DPS (Deposit providers) our head office and all the parties involved. I have also made myself available for the Property Ombudsman to help the tenant to recover the deposit from the original business owners. I am surprised ...

This tenant has published a false representation of our business and as such we may take legal advice to get this removed. Meanwhile, anyone wanting to slander our business should think quite carefully about this, as we may take further action & we will refuse to give a future tenancy reference based on the tenant not conducing his tenancy in the correct manner. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
