I don't know who this person is but the complaint seems to be that we set up a 12 month tenancy when the tenant wanted a 6 month tenancy (according to this review). However, we always ask tenants to sign our Terms of Business which does state the term; in this case 12 months. We also drew up a tenancy agreement (TA) in line with the terms of business (12 months). This is given to the tenant for their review before they come to pick up the keys. We don’t charge a holding deposit. I am sorry but we explain everything on great detail. That is a fee for your administration and referencing. A ‚£35 fee to give a reference, a ‚£50 fee to renew a tenancy etc. Whilst you as a landlord may not be financially affected by these, it speaks to their company ethos and I wouldn't be surprised if the same situation occurred in your own dealings with them.Attached Filesnbsp;

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
